Christopher Judge was born in Los Angeles, California on October, 13 1967. His full name is Douglas Christopher Judge. Christopher has one younger brother who is also an actor, Jeff Judge. Christopher Judge comes from both African and Cherokee decent. tops of at 6'3" (1.91 m) tall and has brown eyes. Since childhood Judge wanted to become an actor but started out as an athlete in high school. Using his skills to the full, he got into the University of Oregon with a football scholarship. Christopher then changed majors to Philosophy for a short while. Not so long he changed to Psychology before finally ending up as Telecommunications and film major. His first step into entertainment came when he won a contest to host a morning radio show in Oregon. But he got started in acting in his senior year, when Fox hosted some regional contests. It was their first year as a network, and they needed programming. After winning, he hosted an "MTV talk show". Christopher used it to get an agent, and things went from there. In 1989 he started studying at the Howard Fine Studio in Los Angeles. His first acting role was in the 1990 film Bird on a Wire where he played a police officer. From there he starred in numerous films and TV shows before landing the role of our favourite Jaffa, Teal'c, in the show Stargate SG-1.
Christopher Judge has been married once but soon is going to marry again. He has four children. Their names are Cameron, Christopher, Catrina and Chloe. His family means to world to Christopher Judge. His fiancé (Gianna Patton) has appeared in the episode 'The Changeling' of Stargate SG-1. It was in fact Christopher Judge who has wrote the episode The Changeling'. Other episodes Judge has written were 'Birthright' and 'Sacrifices'. Christopher has also provided the story basis of the episode 'The warrior' in Stargate SG-1.
When living in Los Angeles, Christopher Judge room with a model photographer. Judge was given extra work and became quite good at it. In 2002 he and his fiancé (Gianna Patton) set up a photography studio. Gia is a make up artist but also a model herself.
Christopher Judge has said he picked photography up again because he finds it important to fall back on. This background in photography held Christopher in good stead when he and his best friend, Michael Shanks who plays Daniel Jackson in Stargate SG-1, started up a company called Slacktwaddle. The company is founded to promote science fiction. The second goal is to satisfy loyal sci-fi fans with some very exclusive merchandise. They created : The women of Sci-Fi calendar. Christopher Judge and Michael Shanks use sci-fi actresses as models. Most actresses have worked together with Christopher Judge. Actresses like Lexa Doig, Terryl Rotherry, Amanda Tapping, ... They also plan to create 'The men of Sci-fi calendar to fan urgings. In the year 2000 Christopher Judge won a Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Television Series in Stargate SG-1. He is currently in development with Stargate Executive Producer Michael Greenburg and Michael's brother, Ross Greenburg, Executive Producer of HBO Sports, to bring the Joe Louis story to the screen. A couple of years ago, Judge fulfilled a longtime ambition and recorded his first CD. The first single to be released was entitled "We're Going to Take Our Clothes Off," which went to number one in Asia.
